The crew spend the week in jump, prepping for the next mission. The jump is uneventful, the jump-exit smooth and Kirth feels pleased with himself.
"Just routine," he thinks as the jump finishes, "just doing my job...."
The second world in the New Covenant system is only a small world, so the trip from the jump exit is not a long one.
